David Oldfield and Rocky Kimball

Guides David and Rocky have been friends and colleagues for three decades,
designing and guiding transformational experiences for individuals and groups throughout the life cycle.

David Oldfield is founder and director of The Midway Center for Creative Imagination (www.midwaycenter.com) in Washington, D.C.
David has spent the last thirty five years designing transformational experiences and toolboxes to help people through threshold times
in the lifecycle--adolescence, midlife, retirement, and the final threshold of our deaths.

David’s guidebooks and programs address these profound transitions and have been used around the world.
Additionally, he is devoted to helping corporations and organizations
through their own threshold moments of growth and renewal.
His work is grounded in the timeless wisdom of world mythology.

As a young Ph.D., Rocky Kimball founded the Santa Fe Mountain Center,
a pioneering mental health program, working to enhance agency and hope for youth-at-risk
and victims of domestic violence and abuse, while simultaneously rebuilding tattered family systems.
This innovative work was recognized by the Center for Juvenile Justice,
 People magazine, the Today Show,
and Australian Sixty Minutes.

Rocky then founded Action Learning Associates, an international consulting firm
working at the forefront of Executive and Leadership Development.
For two decades, he worked with CEOs and teams-at-the-top to link executive education
and leadership development with business strategies.
He has worked in over 40 countries and with more than half of the Fortune 50 companies.

More recently, he co-founded the global organization, FRED Leadership,
whose purpose is to connect and inspire
those who exemplify and cultivate ethical, inclusive, and transformational leadership.
